New home construction is as unpredictable as the weather. Homebuilders work on their schedules, and they tend not to concern themselves with the quality of soils in the yard.
Teamwork is the order of the day. We achieved a unique, minimalistic build with our client, managing the obstacles in terrain & soils left behind by the home builder.
In doing our research around Dallas Pool Companies. We went through a dozen pool companies, before we chose Selah. We tried another company, but they didn’t provide good service so we ended up going with Selah. Our challenge was we have a really large rise on our side yard, that was a bit difficult to work with. Selah was great, they helped us figure out what we could do and what we couldn’t do and made amazing possibilities. We originated in Florida and we have a pool for the last 20 years. The first year in this house and not having a pool was a struggle, especially being cooped up inside all the time. We love the outside now and we really enjoy it. Absolutely, their customer service is amazing, their really hands on. They really ensure that your vision and what you want is brought to life. It’s been a great experience with them, and we would definitely build another pool with them.
The words warm and modern rarely go together as well as they have on this project. Stark flat pool decking is warmed and brought home with a natural look in travertine. Stainless steel appliances built into a kitchen made with marbled & textured stones softens their sleek lines. A glass bead linear edge firepit is captivatingly minimal and then is brought into harmony with the pool scene by the long raised beam wall. The wall connects the pool with three precisely placed sheer descent waterfalls, while the expansive entry leads you into a light pebble plaster finish.
