Features | Negative edge with a unique above grade catch basin, Custom steel linear & cantilever fire pit, Glass tile trimmed raised beam wall |
Design Elements | A unique glass-tiled covered raised beam wall rises above the negative edge catch basin, delivering a unique view that also reflects the sound of the overflow back into the swimming pool scene. A custom-designed cantilevered linear edge fire pit is built out over the pool beam and into the gathering area. Travertine tile with just a few mondo block walkway features adds to the ultra-modern look, while artificial turf surrounds the entire scene for a year-round blue/green oasis scene. |
Use all the imagination we can muster to build a scene that’s never been seen before. Use solid engineering & construction practices to deliver a one-of-a-kind design into reality.
Teamwork makes the dream work. Heavy lifters and skilled artisans working side by side from hand-cut travertine pavers and carefully fitted glass tiles all built-in harmony with a one-of-a-kind linear fire pit filled with blue glass that all totaled easily weighs in at over 1,000 pounds.
Our client’s dream created an ultra-modern scene that filled their entire backyard, starting low and rising with the yard elevation shows how Selah works with the terrain hand in glove to a swimming pool design into a modern art sculpture.
We’re thrilled to work with such a visionary client and proud of the swimming pool, pool deck, and the entire result. We have to mention that the wood seating bench was not our build, because we tend to work in stone and our client “handy with a hammer” chose to finish off their creation around the pool deck.
